Peyton Manning’s Broncos Press Conference Will Be Tuesday

The Denver Broncos are on the way to signing one of the biggest free agents in NFL history, Peyton Manning. The two sides are finalizing contract details, and the Broncos have announced that they'll be conducting a 3 p.m. ET press conference to announce Manning's arrival.

As expected, Broncos players are taking the news of Manning’s arrival very well.

"I tried to look at it objectively and not try to be biased toward my team, the Broncos," cornerback Champ Bailey said of the multiteam, 12-day-long Manning courtship. "But as I was putting it together, I always thought we had the best fit for somebody like him."

Those reasons include the boatload of salary cap Denver currently has, a promising defense and a solid offensive line. Jon Bois of SBNation.com went through the stats and concluded that Manning should be just fine in Denver.
