Tashard Choice Will Re-Sign With Bills

The Buffalo Bills announced on Saturday that running back Tashard Choice had re-signed with the club. Choice was signed by the Bills as a late-season addition — his third team last year after starting the season with the Dallas Cowboys with a brief stop with the Washington Redskins before landing in upstate New York. He was claimed off waivers when Fred Jackson's season ended with a broken leg in late November.

In six games with Buffalo last season, he had 23 carries for 70 yards and seven catches for 51 yards in a backup role to C.J. Spiller. Choice will compete with Spiller for a backup running back spot behind Jackson, who will re-take his starting spot. A Georgia Tech product, this will be Choice's fifth season after three relatively productive seasons in a crowded backfield rotation in Dallas.
