Tolbert, 26, is a big running back at 5’9 and 247 pounds. He spent the first four years of his career in San Diego, with his best season coming in 2010 when he rushed for 735 yards and had 11 touchdowns. He caught 54 passes last season, so he offers some versatility.
This makes you wonder what Stewart’s future in Carolina is. He’s under contract for one more season, and it’s hard to see the Panthers investing even more money into their running backs.

The report does note however that Connor isn’t necessarily the Eagles first option at the linebacker position in free agency, but that there is significant interest there. The Eagles were so interested, according to the report, that the team approached Carolina about a trade for Connor during the 2011 season.
