Super Bowl 2012: Injured Giants Players Feeling Better

The New York Giants and New England Patriots are spending the week in Indianapolis while gearing up for their big rematch in Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday. The Giants seem less banged up than do the Patriots heading into the Super Bowl, especially considering the speculation that is swirling around the status of Rob Gronkowski's ankle.

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN reports that those Giants players who were dealing with injuries heading into this week are already improving. Rookie linebacker Jacquian Williams is no longer keeping his sprained foot in a protective boot and hoped to partake in limited practice on Wednesday, regarding himself as day-to-day.

In addition, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks stated that the AC joint in his shoulder is feeling "a lot better."

The Giants look to be heading into Super Bowl Sunday at close to full strength, which is perhaps more than the Pats can say with only a few days before the biggest sporting event of the year.
