Rob Gronkowski’s Injury Recovery ‘Going Well’

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was a bit hobbled during Super Bowl XLVI dealing with an ankle injury. Some questioned the injury when he went out partying after the Patriots lost the Super Bowl, but he had surgery to repair the injured ankle back in early February.

Gronkowski hasn’t been at either of the Patriots OTA practices sessions so far in the offseason, but reportedly no longer is walking around with a limp. The Patriots have made an effort not to push Gronkowski so far, which is completely understandable. Gronk says he’s recovering just fine, however.

“Just taking it day by day,” Gronkowski told The Boston Herald at a charity event. “Everything is going well, just feeling better every single week.”

Of course, Gronk made an appearance at the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday night. Yo soy fiesta.
