Sources tell Tony Pauline of NFL Draft Insider and SI.com that Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered a "significant" foot injury during offseason training in Florida. Pauline reports that the injury will likely keep him out of the Senior Bowl.

If the report is true, it's a monumental blow to Tannehill's NFL Draft stock. Some consider Tannehill the third-best quarterback in this year's class following Stanford's Andrew Luck and Baylor's Robert Griffin III. We'll have him in that range when the site's rankings are updated following the Jan. 15 early declaration deadline.

Tannehill has a nice arm, good size, solid athleticism for the position and improved decision making. Now he may have to rely on scouts judging him solely on his senior tape. On the year he had 3,744 passing yards with 29 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Nine of those interceptions came in games against Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas.

HogsHaven.com has an extensive breakdown of Tannehill (with some input by me) here. Make sure to follow Pauline on Twitter here. He breaks as much or more draft news as anyone.
