We Can’t Get Enough Hotel Rooms!

One of Bud Selig’s stated reasons for establishing the World Series site months ahead of time is the availability of hotel rooms. (I am not making this up.)

↵↵That’s probably why MLB has not officially announced that Citi Field will host the 2013 All-Star Game:

↵↵MLB once again is dealing with the complex logistics of staging its midsummer jewel event in the country’s largest market.↵↵Today, we learn that the Twins might get the 2014 All-Star game. Which will be announced first? Stay tuned.
