I was about to write "40-year-old Bartolo Colon", because he seems that old, but that isn't right -- Colon is 38 and won't turn 39 until May.
Bartolo Colon Signs With Mystery Team

On Saturday, USA Today’s Bob Nightengale tweeted that Colon had signed. There’s a caveat:
Barolo Colon says he has agreed to a deal with a team but won’t divulge te until he passes physical #mlb
Colon had a pretty good year for the Yankees in 2011 after missing the entire 2010 season. He posted a 4.00 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 111 ERA+ over 29 appearances (26 starts). Could this "mystery team" be the Yankees? Maybe, but Jayson Stark had tweeted on Friday that the Diamondbacks were interested, and on Saturday, Buster Olney tweeted:
Oakland Athletics are in negotiations with Bartolo Colon.
A few hours after the Olney tweet, this one from Jon Heyman narrowed it down:
Bartolo colon has a deal. It’s apparently not dbacks or yanks. A’s were among other teams interested. No confirmation. So it would appear that Oakland is his likely destination. It’s all pending a physical; Colon got hitters out in 2011 despite being in, um, not optimal physical condition. Colon wasn’t even close to being the oldest player in the AL last season; there were at least 10 who were older. Although the A’s are going young, for the most part, it’s not likely Colon will cost them that much for a one-year deal to solidify a young pitching staff.
