↵In this damaged-but-intriguing piece of original vintage art, Smoky Joe Wood seems to be staring at us across the vast wasteland of time. Perhaps most famous for his 1912 pitching duel with Walter Johnson, Wood, along with Babe Ruth, is also one of the very few players with any significant playing time who had both a career ERA+ (146) and OPS+ (110) of over 100 each.
