↵Pat Seerey, seen here in this fun caricature from The Sporting News, is one of the 15 men who’ve hit four home runs in a single game. For a 1940s player, Seerey struck out a lot - a whole lot. He led the American League in whiffs four seasons, two of which came in years where he didn’t even qualify for the batting title. Of course, Mark Reynolds makes Seerey look like Joe Sewell by comparison.
