Apart from Anderson, former player Spike Shannon (seen below) was also a Federal League umpire, as were Lee Fyfe, Bert Maxwell, Joe O’Brien, Bill Brennan, William Finneran, Fred Westervelt, James Johnstone, Harry Howell and William McCormick.
