Texas vs. Oklahoma: TV schedule set for 2012 Red River Shootout

The Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners will face off at noon ET on ABC for this season’s Red River Shootout.

The TV schedule has finally been announced for this season's affair between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners. According to the websites of the two teams, the game will be played at the Cotton Bowl at noon ET. The game will be televised on ABC.

Texas is currently 1-0 on the season in Big 12 play following a win over The Sooners are 0-1 after getting shocked in Oklahoma by the Big 12 leading Kansas State Wildcats. Oklahoma has won two straight Red River Rivalry games after a 28-20 victory in 2010 and a big 55-17 win in 2011. The Sooners have also won eight of the last 12.

Prior to the Red River Shootout, the Sooners will take on Texas Tech on Saturday as they look for a first conference win of the season and a bit of momentum. Meanwhile, the Longhorns will meet Geno Smith and the high flying West Virginia Mountaineers.
