Belarus proved to be unsurprisingly unfit to challenge the European and world champions on Friday, as Spain coasted to an easy 4-0 weekend to keep their perfect qualifying record intact. Vicente del Bosque rotated his squad to give some key players a rest, as well as some fringe players a look, ahead of the massive match against France on Tuesday.

Jordi Alba scored on a great overlapping run into the box to open the scoring in the first half, assisted by his Barcelona teammate Pedro. The artist formerly known as Pedrito would have a hand in each of Spain's goals as he put together an impressive hat trick.
His first goal was scored from inside the penalty area in the first half on a powerful strike, assisted by David Silva. He put the match away for good in the 69th minute on a counter-attack. Xavi sprung him loose with an excellent through ball and he surged past the entire Belarus defense before finishing from 12 yards. Three minutes later, he was left completely unmarked at the back post and scored easily off a cross from Cesc Fabregas.
A win was always a given in this match for Spain. On Tuesday, they’ll actually face a bit of a test.
