The Cardinals are going to win the World Series, aren’t they? I’m certainly not the only one who seems to share that inescapable feeling. There’s just something about them, something ... I dunno, annoying? (Hope you didn’t click on this post for analysis!)
Cardinals celebrate Game 3 win with dancing, beard rubbing
The Cardinals had some odd celebrations following their Game 3 win, including dancing and rubbing Jason Motte’s beard, obviously.

If St. Louis does in fact go on to beat the Giants, it’ll be the Cardinals’ fourth World Series appearance in nine seasons (they’ve won two). They’re becoming the Yankees of the midwest. So, might as well get used to their bizarre post-game celebrations.
Yep. That’s Mark McGwire, rubbing his fingers in Jason Motte’s beard (Motte’s Mane?). And ... well, yep.
Ooooohhhh so much beard. Oddly hypnotizing.
And before all the beard business, Motte did his dance with John Jay.
