Thursday’s NBA preseason scores

Dwyane Wade’s knee looked fine as he scored 21 points to lead Miami to a rout over Detroit.

Dwyane Wade scored 21 points and had 5 assists in 23 minutes -- a welcome site for fans worried about his surgically repaired left knee -- to lead the defending champion Miami Heat to an easy 105-78 win over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday in a preseason matchup.

Chris Bosh added 17 and LeBron James scored 13 for Miami. The Big 3 combined to shoot 19-for-31 from the floor with 14 assists, 13 rebounds and 5 steals as Miami stormed to a 95-60 lead through 3 quarters. All three players sat out the fourth quarter.

Greg Monroe scored 15 and Brandon Knight scored 12 for Detroit. Corey Maggette pulled up with an injury after only two minutes and did not return.
