Vanderbilt LB clotheslines Auburn QB

Archibald Barnes takes a heel turn with this shot on Jonathan Wallace

Vanderbilt is showing a mean streak this week. No longer the doormat of the SEC, James Franklin’s bunch is out there sending letters in the U.S. Mail to cancel non-conference games (nothing says spite like the USPS) and delivering late WWE-style hits on Auburn players.

Here’s Archibald Barnes coming off the ropes to clothesline Auburn quarterback Jonathan Wallace out of bounds.

While Vince McMahon would be impressed and sign Barnes right up to the XFL, something tells me the officials were none too pleased. Things are getting feisty in Nashville, with the Dores up 17-13 on Auburn with seven minutes to play. Gene Chizik is still there (allegedly) and probably updating his LinkedIn profile on the sidelines. It isn’t immediately known what he has listed as ‘expertise.’
