Chip Kelly trusts his players on Twitter, and third down

Welcome to 2012, where debating the merits of college kids being on Twitter is a real thing that happens in sports.

On Tuesday, Mike Leach, head football coach at Washington State, “decided” to ban all his players from using Twitter. Andrew Sharp shared his thoughts on that already, and you can read them here.

And now we have Chip Kelly, head football coach at Oregon, detailing his thoughts on Leach’s ban when prompted by a reporter.
