Bryan Stow attends World Series Game 2

Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally beaten at Dodger Stadium on Opening Day of 2011, was in attendance Thursday night at AT&T park to root on his Giants in the World Series.

Bryan Stow watched Game 2 of the World Series at AT&T Park in San Francisco, rooting on his Giants with his family and 47,000 of his closest friends. He and his family did not want a special ceremony or acknowledgement of his presence. Instead, they wanted a fun evening at the ballpark and, most of all, another World Series win for Stow's Giants.

Stow was savagely attacked after the Giants' Opening Day game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on March 31, 2011. He sustained massive head injuries, including a skull fracture and brain damage, leaving him in critical condition and comatose for six months. The road of recovery has been long and arduous for Stow. A year-and-a-half after the attack, he still experiences crippling pain and struggles with memory loss.
