Bo Wallace led the offense down the field to set up the game-winning field goal to give the Ole Miss Rebels a 30-27 win against the Arkansas Razorbacks on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Bryson Rose nailed the 31-yarder as time expired, one of his three field goals on the day. The victory gives Ole Miss its second SEC win of the season and moves to the Rebels to 5-3 overall.

Arkansas knotted the score at 27 with a late fourth-quarter drive that featured Dennis Johnson. The running back carried defenders on a run just short of the goal line before finishing off the drive with a 5-yard score.

Ole Miss fell behind early, surrendering a field goal and a 42-yard touchdown from Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson to tight end Chris Gragg in the first quarter. The Rebels responded with 14 straight points in the second period, including a 4-yard pass from Wallace to wide receiver Vince Sanders.

Following a touchdown by Arkansas, Ole Miss closed out the half with a 1-yard Jeff Scott score, capping off an impressive 10-play, 75-yard drive in a little more than a minute.

Box Score Hero: His stats weren’t overwhelming, but Bo Wallace delivered when Ole Miss needed it most. The Rebels’ quarterback finished with 278 passing yards and a touchdown, as well as 38 rushing yards.

But Did They Cover? Arkansas was not able to cover as 6.5-point favorites.

Next Week’s Schedule: Arkansas will host Tulsa next weekend, while Ole Miss will return home to face No. 10 Georgia in an SEC showdown.
