North Carolina’s helmets are ... neat?

Let’s have a look at North Carolina’s helmets for its rivalry game against North Carolina State, shall we? We haven’t seen these beasts in action until today and, well ... I’m not sure what to think. On one hand, chromed-out helmets are pretty neat -- second to matte black in my book.

But on the other, there’s that foot -- that giant foot. It’s just huge, taking up a large chunk of the helmet. Huge and blue, which is cool in a branding sort of way, but kind of funky in an aesthetics way.

I mean, those are some big ol’ feet. Your thoughts?
