Derek Dooley is agile

Well, at least Derek Dooley had this going for him.

Pretty much nothing went right for Derek Dooley today. Not everything went wrong, mind you, but close to it. His Tennessee Volunteers lost to South Carolina in what may lead to his eventual dismissal. Jadeveon Clowney showed up and destroyed his party, taking away Tennessee's good chance to score late in the fourth with a strip sack of Tyler Bray. And with one last shot to drive the length of the field to win, Bray armpunted the ball away, allowing South Carolina to kill the clock.

On the plus side, though, Dooley showed some evasive maneuvers on South Carolina's last drive. Watch as Connor Shaw very nearly takes him out. Notice Dooley showing some agility while on crutches -- he's recovering from hip surgery. And keep an eye on the assistant in the background who is not so lucky.

That could’ve been Dooley, and it could’ve been awful -- a cherry on top of a pretty poor day. So he’s got that going for him.
