The Houston Rockets acquired guards Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward and center Cole Aldrich along with 2012 NBA Sixth Man of the Year James Harden from the Oklahoma City Thunder for guards Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb, two first-round picks and one second-round pick.

The Rockets acquired guards Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward and center Cole Aldrich along with James Harden from the Thunder.


Cook, 25, is the veteran of the three players acquired by the Rockets not named Harden . He’s spent five years in the NBA, three with the Miami Heat and the last two with the Thunder.
Oklahoma City acquired Cook from the Heat along with a first-round draft pick in a June 2010 trade that sent a second-round pick to Miami. The guard has averaged 7.1 points and 2.3 rebounds over his five-year career.
Aldrich was selected 11th overall by the New Orleans Hornets during the 2010 NBA Draft, but was immediately traded to the Thunder. The 23-year-old has averaged 1.7 points and 1.9 rebounds over his two seasons in Oklahoma City.
Heyward, 25, has spent two seasons in the NBA. He’s averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds over 68 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Thunder.
