Andrew Ladd signs with KHL’s Avangard Omsk, then changes mind

Ladd told the Winnipeg Free Press that he felt bad for Omsk, and that he went back and forth on the decision in the past few days.

Ladd led the Jets with 28 goals and 22 assists in 82 games last season.

Avangard Omsk, known as HC Vanguard, is a team from Siberia based in Omsk, Russia. The club is a part of the Chernyshev Division of the Kontinental Hockey League, and won the IIHF European Champions Cup in 2005.
