Jamaica Handicap 2012 Results: King David lights up the board at 28/1

It was an all “King” shocker at Belmont Park as King David beat King Kreesa to set off boxcar payouts in the Grade 1 Jamaica Stakes. King David was sent to post at odds of 28/1. King Kressa at odds of 23/1. Together, they keyed a $185.00 $1 Exacta and a $9.32.50 $1 Trifecta. The $0.10 Superfecta came back at a mouthwatering $467.05.

Pacific Classic winner Dullahan, sent to post as the 8/5 favorite, didn’t get much of a pace to run at and was relegated towards the back of the pack at the wire.

King David is trained by Michael Maker and ridden by Rosie Napravnik.
