Start Time: The first wave of participants will begin at 7:30 a.m. in Chicago. The second wave will begin at 8 a.m.
Weather Forecast: It will be a chilly morning for the marathon. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-40s at the start. The high on Sunday is 52 degrees, with the low at 35. Sunrise is at 6:54 a.m.
Interesting storyline to follow: Liliya Shobukhova of Russia will be trying to win her fourth consecutive Chicago Marathon on the women’s side, while Ethiopia’s Tsegaye Kebede is just one of many highlights on the men’s side.
