Tigers vs. Athletics, 2012 ALDS Game 3: Time, TV schedule, lineups and more

The Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics will play Game 3 of their ALDS game at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The Tigers took care of business in Detroit, opening a 2-0 series lead over the higher-seeded A's. Starter Tommy Milone pitched a valiant effort for the A's in Game 2, but closer Grant Balfour lost it in the ninth, giving up a walk-off sacrifice fly to Don Kelly. The series now heads to the Bay Area, where the A's need to win three straight in order to advance to the ALCS.
