From start to finish, the Los Angeles Lakers had little trouble dispatching the Sacramento Kings, winning 103-90 at the Staples Center on Sunday night.

Dwight Howard powered the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-90 win over the Sacramento Kings at the Staples Center on Sunday night.

Dwight Howard led L.A. with a strong performance, notching a game-high 23 points and 18 rebounds, along with three blocks, two steals and three assists. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant contributed in all facets, recording six rebounds and six assists to go along with his 20 points.
For the Kings, Jimmer Fredette came off the bench for a team-high 18 points in only 11 minutes of play. Forward Jason Thompson also chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
While dominating the glass with a 50-39 rebounding advantage, L.A.‘s biggest edge came at the free throw line. The Lakers shot 30 free throws, compared to Sacramento’s 14.
The Lakers have now won consecutive games since firing Mike Brown and appointing Bernie Bickerstaff as interim coach. All three of L.A.'s wins have come at home, where the Lakers have played five of their seven games.
