The Peoria Javelinas defeated the Salt River Rafters 4-3 to take the Arizona Fall League championship on Saturday afternoon. Mike Zunino of the Seattle Mariners had three hits and two RBIs to lead the Javelinas to victory. Nate Roberts of the Minnesota Twins and Rymer Liriano of the Padres each added three hits for Peoria.

Cincinnati Reds prospect Billy Hamilton had two hits but left the game early after crashing into the wall on Anthony Rendon's triple in the eighth inning. Hamilton stole 155 bases this season in the minor leagues. MLB Network announcers called the injury lower back spasms.

Carlos Sanchez of the White Sox had two hits and two runs scored and Kent Matthes of the Rockies had two hits with a run scored and an RBI. Jake Marisnick, who is part of the package the Marlins are receiving from the Blue Jays, went 0-4.

Salt River starter Ryan Perry of the Nationals allowed all four runs over his three innings of work to take the loss.

The Javelinas are filled with prospects from the Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. The Rafters are affiliated with the Chicago White Sox, Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays, Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks.
