NFL inactive list, Week 11: Eagles vs. Redskins

Brandon Meriweather and Pierre Garcon will play for Washington, while Michael Vick and Jason Avant will be inactive for Philadelphia.

The inactive lists for both the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles are out. As expected, both safety Brandon Meriweather and receiver Pierre Garcon will play for Washington, while quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Jason Avant will not play for Philadelphia.

Garcon has played in only three games this season for Washington, and none since Oct. 7 due to a foot injury. The wide receiver has eight catches for 153 yards and a touchdown this season. He hauled in 70 passes for Indianapolis last year, before signing a five-year deal with Washington in the offseason.

Vick suffered a concussion during last Sunday's game against the Cowboys, and will give way to rookie Nick Foles this week. Foles struggled in relief of Vick last week, completing 22-of-32 passes for 219 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He will be without Avant, Philadelphia's third receiver, who has 27 receptions this season. Receiver Jeremy Maclin will play with a back strain.

The rest of the Redskins' inactive list consists of linebacker Mario Addison, receiver Dezmon Briscoe, cornerback Richard Crawford, quarterback Rex Grossman, guard Maurice Hurt, and defensive end Doug Worthington.

The rest of the Eagles' inactive list consists of defensive end Vinny Curry, receiver Mardy Gilyard, defensive end Phillip Hunt, tackle Nate Menkin, and running back Chris Polk.
