Doug McDermott scored 24 points, and the No. 15 Creighton Bluejays cruised to an 87-58 win over Presbyterian at CenturyLink Center on Sunday.

Creighton jumped out to a 26-point halftime lead in a big win over Presbyterian.


McDermott hit 7 of 9 shots from the field, including 2 of 3 from behind the 3-point arc, for the Bluejays (3-0). He was 8 of 8 from the free-throw line, and he had seven rebounds and two assists. Ethan Wragge scored 18 points on 6 of 8 shooting from 3. Austin Chatman scored nine points and dished out 11 assists.
Jordan Downing tallied 25 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal to lead the Blue Hose (0-3). Khalid Mutakabbir contributed 12 points on 5 of 13 shooting, three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
The game was never in doubt, as Creighton jumped out to a 43-17 lead at halftime. The Bluejays shot 61.5 percent from the floor and connected on 12 of 24 3-pointers.
