Arizona's Kevin Parrom had a perfect night on the floor. The senior guard was 5-of-5 for 15 points, with all his shots coming from three-point range. Parrom was second on the team in scoring behind freshman forward Brandon Ashley. Like Parrom, Ashley was spotless in the field, hitting all six of his shots. He sank eight of his nine attempts at the free-throw line, for a total of 20 points on the night. He also earned a double-double, contributing 10 rebounds. Solomon Hill wanted to be perfect, too. So he nailed all 11 of his free throw attempts, ending the night with 15 points.
James Ennis led Long Beach in scoring, with 17 points, and rebounds, with seven. Peter Pappageorge went 4-for-6 on three-pointers and was 4-for-4 at the free throw line, ending the game with 16 points.
