The odds of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin returning to the lineup this Sunday seem to have improved as the week has gone on. As Curtis Crabtree of ProFootball Talk writes, on Monday head coach Pete Carroll called Baldwin's return a "long shot," but Baldwin was a full participant in Thursday's practice just two weeks after suffering a high ankle sprain against the San Francisco 49ers.
Doug Baldwin injury update: Seahawks WR could return on Sunday
Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, could play Sunday.

Braylon Edwards was a surprise inactive for the game as he woke up with swelling in his right knee, so getting Baldwin back sooner than expected could be a huge boost to a Seahawks passing game that has taken some steps forward as the season has gone on. Quarterback Russell Wilson had previously struggled on the road, but he completed 25-of-35 passes for 236 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Lions on Sunday.
Seattle will try to get back on track and break a two-game losing streak at home this weekend. The Seahawks are 3-0 at CenturyLink Field in 2012.
