There's been plenty of vitriol between fans of the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies in recent years. The Ducks have dominated on the field for much of the last decade but the Huskies have picked up a Duck defector. Devon Blackmon announced earlier in the week that he intends to transfer and now we know his destination. He'll head north to Seattle and play for the Huskies.

After announcing earlier this week he intends to transfer, Blackmon will head north to play college football.


Blackmon appeared in two games for the Ducks this season before announcing he’ll transfer. The redshirt freshman won’t be available to the Huskies until the 2014 season per NCAA rules because he is transferring between FBS programs.
The Fontana, Calif., native was one of the top-rated players in the 2010 recruiting class, ranked No. 23 in ESPN’s top 150 recruits and the No. 2 receiver overall coming out of high school. He also played in the 2011 Under Armour All-America game, catching a 58-yard touchdown pass.
