The Philadelphia Eagles were without running back LeSean McCoy for much of last week's game vs. the Washington Redskins due to a concussion. Now it looks like they may be without him this week vs. the Carolina Panthers.
LeSean McCoy injury: Eagles RB still recovering from concussion
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Panthers after failing to pass the NFL’s baseline concussion tests.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane via his twitter account, head coach Andy Reid says McCoy is still in Phase 1 of his concussion recover. The Eagles officially have McCoy listed as questionable for Monday night’s game, but Reid’s quote makes it sound like McCoy’s availability for the game is less than a 50-50 proposition.
Phase 1 of concussion recovery means McCoy hasn't passed the NFL's baseline concussion tests yet. If McCoy can't go, that means the Eagles will likely be without he and quarterback Michael Vick, who is still recovering from a concussion he sustained two weeks ago against the Cowboys. That means quarterback Nick Foles and running back Bryce Brown will start in their places.
Kickoff for Monday’s game from Lincoln Financial Field is set for 7:30 Monday night. It’s being broadcast on ESPN.
