Hector Camacho dies four days after shooting
The former boxer was taken off life support on Saturday morning, four days after getting shot in Puerto Rico.

Camacho, 50, was shot in his native Puerto Rico earlier this week while sitting in the passenger seat of a car.
The motive of the shooting and the perpetrators unknown to this point. Camacho suffered a gunshot wound to the face in the incident, and was then rushed to a hospital. However, the injury was too severe, ultimately forcing Camacho to go on life support before losing his battle.
Adrian Mojita Moreno, Camacho’s longtime friend, was killed during the heinous attack.
The boxer was a fan favorite, going 79-6-3 in his long career with 45 wins via the knockout. Camacho held four major belts over the span of his career, including the WBC Super Featherweight, WBC Lightweight, and twice the WBO Light Welterweight.
Camacho’s last fight was in 2012 against Saul Duran.
