Chauncey Billups injury update: Clippers G to return, start vs. Timberwolves
Chauncey Billups will make his season debut for the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night.

Billups has been sidelined since Feb. 7 when he suffered an Achilles injury in Orlando, causing him to miss the remainder of that season and the start of this season.
The 15-year veteran will bolster the Clippers' backcourt, joining the likes of Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford and Eric Bledsoe. Guard Willie Green has started all 14 games so far for Los Angeles at the two-guard but is averaging 18.4 minutes per game. Billups' return likely moves Green down the guard rotation with fewer minutes left to spread around.
Billups brings his abilities as a playmaker and distributor to the Clippers, who rank 19th in the NBA in assists per game with 21.4.
For his career, Billups has averaged 15.5 points and 5.5 assists and was named the Finals MVP in 2004.
