After both teams struggled for points in the second half, the Arkansas Razorbacks held off the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes to earn a 19-15 win at home on Saturday afternoon.

Heading into the fourth quarter trailing by two points, the Razorbacks drove 76 yards in 1:48 to take the lead on a one-yard Dennis Johnson touchdown run. After having a field goal blocked later in the quarter, the Arkansas defense didn’t surrender much to Tulsa.

Arkansas dominated the first quarter, taking an early 10-0 lead. The Razorbacks were the first to strike with an eight-yard rushing score by Johnson nearly three minutes into the game.

The Golden Hurricanes got back into the contest in the second quarter as their offense recorded two touchdowns. The rushing scores came on a one-yard run by Alex Singleton and a 29-yarder by Trey Watts. However, Tulsa failed to convert both extra point attempts and trailed 13-12 after the first half.

Arkansas climbs to 4-5 overall while the Golden Hurricanes suffer only their second loss this season, moving to 7-2.

Box Score Hero: Wide receiver Cobi Hamilton was Tyler Wilson's favorite target, catching 11 balls for 177 yards, including a 41-yarder.

But Did They Cover? Arkansas failed to cover as 9-point favorites.
