The Green Bay Packers have ruled out linebacker Clay Matthews for the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Clay Matthews injury: Packers LB out again
Packers linebacker Clay Matthews will miss his third straight game with a hamstring injury.

Matthews is missing his third straight game since injuring his hamstring during a 31-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 4. Matthews left the game against the Cardinals in the third quarter, and he hasn't played or practiced since.
Matthews has a reputation as one of the top defensive players in the NFL, and his statistics this season prove it. At the time of his injury, Matthews’ nine sacks ranked second in the NFL. Even after missing two games, he is still tied for seventh in that category. Matthews also has 21 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
The Packers and Vikings are fighting for playoff position in the NFC. Green Bay (7-4) is currently locked into the first Wild Card spot, but three teams at 6-5, including the Vikings, are hot on the Packers’ heels.
Green Bay and Minnesota will kickoff from Lambeau Field at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 2, and the game will be televised on FOX.
