Not the San Francisco Giants, though I think they did, too (I have it DVR’d, so please, no spoilers). The Yomiuri Giants, nee the Tokyo Giants, won their 22nd Japan Series title, beating the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters for the crown.
Giants win the Series
Both sets of Giants won the pennant in 1989 and 2002, but this is the first time the two teams have won the championship in the same year. So congrats to the Giants and the Giants for winning it all.
