The Utah Jazz used an efficient offensive performance to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers on the road, winning 117-110 on Sunday night.

The Utah Jazz earned a road win over the Los Angeles Lakers in a high-scoring affair at the Staples Center on Sunday night.

Utah received strong efforts from a number of players, including forward Paul Millsap and guard Mo Williams. Millsap scored a team-high 24 points, while recording nine rebounds, two assists and three steals. Williams got into a rhythm, shooting 8-of-11 from the field for 22 points, while dishing nine assists.
Kobe Bryant once again led the Lakers with a game-high 34 points, often getting to the free throw line where he converted 12-of-14.
Both teams saw their bench produce, with DeMarre Carroll, Enes Kanter and Gordon Hayward each reaching double figures for Utah. For L.A., Jordan Hill and Jodie Meeks spurred the second unit with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
Despite not shooting as well as the Jazz, the Lakers kept themselves in the game with their outside shooting, hitting 15-of-28 from beyond the arc.
The loss is L.A.‘s second consecutive and fourth in the last five contests.
