Packers vs. Bears, Week 15: Poor offensive line play hurts Chicago

Chicago’s offensive line and the entire offense struggled Sunday as the Bears managed just 190 total yards.

The Chicago Bears fell 21-13 to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, ending any division title hopes they had in the process. Offensive line play was a big reason why the Bears struggled to move the football, as SB Nation's Windy City Gridiron pointed out after the game.

The offensive line situation is as bad as we have seen in the last several seasons, with guys being rotated in and out at different positions seemingly every possession.

Quarterback Jay Cutler endured four sacks and threw an interception. He was limited to just 135 yards passing and didn't get a lot of help from the ground game. Chicago finished with 190 total yards, went 0-9 on third down and had only 12 first downs.

Chicago jumped out to a 7-0 lead when Cutler hit Brandon Marshall on a 15-yard strike in the opening quarter, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers responded to score the next 21 points in the game. The Bears could only manage a pair of field goals in the second half.

The defeat dropped the Bears to 8-6, and now they’re fighting for one of two wild card spots.
