The Milwaukee Brewers have reportedly signed Tom Gorzelanny to a two-year deal, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Jon Paul Morosi says the deal is worth close to $6 million. Gorzelanny will take a physical on Friday before the deal can be finalized.

The 30-year-old Gorzelanny will likely pitch out of the bullpen for the Brewers, as they have a specific need for lefty set-up men after non-tendering Manny Parra. Gorzelanny pitched mostly in relief for the Washington Nationals over the last two seasons, posting a 3.56 ERA. He has started a good deal in the past, too, so the Brewers could also see him as a possible fit in the rotation. Gorzelanny has started 111 games among stints with the Pirates, Cubs and Nationals in his seven-year career. Milwaukee needs every kind of pitching, so Gorzelanny's versatility is of great use.

Gorzelanny was non-tendered by the Nationals last month, making him a free agent.
