NFL inactive list, Week 16: Patriots vs. Jaguars

Rob Gronkowski and Brandon Spikes are out for the Patriots while the Jaguars will be without Maurice Jones-Drew and Rashad Jennings.

As the NFL's leading offense prepares to take the field against the league's second-worst defense in Jacksonville, the injury reports for the Patriots and Jaguars have surfaced before their Week 16 matchup.

For the Patriots, tight end Rob Gronkowski will miss yet another game with his forearm injury. Joining him will be team's second-leading tackler, linebacker Brandon Spikes, due to knee and ankle injuries. Also sitting out will be cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, fullback James Develin, defensive end Jake Bequette, defensive lineman Ron Brace and offensive lineman Markus Zusevics.

For the Jaguars, the only offensive piece that seems to work these days, running back Maurice Jones-Drew, will be out with a foot injury. Joining him on the inactive list are fellow running back Rashad Jennings, cornerback Antwaun Molden, linebacker Brandon Marshall, offensive lineman Eben Britton, defensive end Austen Lane and running back Jonathan Grimes.

The Patriots and Jaguars are set to kick off at 1 p.m. EST in EverBank Field.
