The Arizona Wildcats had little trouble dispatching the Miami Hurricanes, winning 69-50 on Sunday night to advance to the Diamond Head Classic final.

Mark Lyons led the Arizona Wildcats to a comfortable win over the Miami Hurricanes in the semifinal of the Diamond Head Classic.


Guard Mark Lyons led an efficient offensive performance by the No. 4 Wildcats, pouring in 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. He also added a team-high four assists and three rebounds. Arizona center Kaleb Tarczewski grabbed a game-high 13 boards, helping the Wildcats dominate on the glass with a 44-19 rebounding edge.
For the Hurricanes, big man Kenny Kadji recorded 19 points on 9-of-15 shooting, while guards Durand Scott and Shane Larkin scored 15 and 10, respectively. Miami, which has shot .373 on 3-pointers this season, struggled to find the range against Arizona, connecting on just 5-of-19 attempts.
The Wildcats will take on the No. 18 San Diego St. Aztecs in the tournament's championship game on Tuesday night. SDSU earned a 62-55 win over the Indiana St. Sycamores on Sunday.
