Mike Wallace did not practice, has perhaps seen last game in black and yellow

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Mike Wallace did not practice on Wednesday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Pittsburgh Steelers wide out Mike Wallace did not practice on Wednesday, via Ed Bouchette. The Steelers receiver landed on the team's injury report with a banged up hip.

While this is not a good sign for Sunday’s game, he has Thursday and Friday to get involved. With the team out of playoff contention and with Wallace set to be a free agent, there’s a slight chance No. 17 watches from the sidelines.

Fantasy Analysis: In Week 17, the Steelers will host the Cleveland Browns, in one final regular season bout with an AFC North opponent. With Wallace slightly banged up and drifting away from the Steelers, the team might not bother activating him on Sunday.

Depending on where Wallace lands in 2013, he could be a very desirable fantasy player next season.
