Gonzaga stayed undefeated against the Big 12 with a 94-87 win over the Baylor Bears in a back and forth, streaky, high-energy game on Friday night.

Gonzaga is 4-0 against the Big 12 this season, as they outlasted the Baylor Bears in a constant sprint on Friday night.


The Zags had to shake off early cobwebs, as Baylor jumped out to an early 8-2 lead. Gonzaga hadn’t played a game in 10 days. The teams traded short streaks and the Bulldogs took a five-point lead into halftime.
The Bulldogs came out aggressively in the second half, and the Bears just weren't able to match the intensity. Gonzaga stretched the lead to 10, and although the Bears tried with well-timed three-point attempts, they just couldn't cut the lead in front of a hostile Spokane crowd. Gonzaga improved to 4-0 against the Big 12 this year with the win. Bears guard Pierre Jackson scored 26 points but also turned the ball over seven times. Forward Isaiah Austin added 20 points and eight rebounds.
Gonzaga guard Kevin Pangos scored a season high 31 points off of 10-of-13 shooting, and was 7-of-10 from three-point range. Forward Kelly Olynyk added 21 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Forward Elias Harris struggled from the field, shooting 4-of-13, but was 9-of-11 from the free throw line to score 17 points. As a team, the Bulldogs shot 52.5 percent from the field and were 9-for-18 from three point range.
The Bulldogs head on the road to take on their final Big 12 opponent of the year, No. 22 Oklahoma State, on Monday.
