Rick Osentoski-US PRESSWIRE

Saturday’s NCAA hockey schedule is full of games, and two matchups of ranked teams highlight the action.

No. 6 Boston University travels to Denver to face the 14th-ranked Pioneers at Magness Arena. The Terriers have won two straight games since dropping a 5-2 decision to arch-rival Boston College on Dec. 1, while the Pioneers are winless in their last eight games, compiling a 0-5-3 record. Denver started the season with a 9-1-1 record.

Another contest between ranked teams pits No. 12 Nebraska-Omaha and No. 9 Quinnipiac. The Mavericks and Bobcats meet at Quinnipiac’s TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. The Mavericks haven’t lost since Nov. 6 and are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games. During that stretch, Quinnipiac hasn’t allowed an opponent to score more than two goals in a game.
