UCLA Bruins linebacker Anthony Barr will skip the NFL Draft and return for his senior season next year, according to CBS Sports's Bruce Feldman.

Barr is forgoing on a chance to be selected in the 2013 NFL Draft, despite having his stock rising. He began the season as a converted running back who hadn’t made a name for himself, but he ended the year as an All-Pac-12 player. In his Big Board released on Dec. 5, ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. ranked Barr as the No. 10 draft-eligible prospect.

Barr compiled 13 sacks in 2012, which tied with four other players for best in the country. He ranked seventh in the nation with 21 tackles for loss, and he contributed 82 tackles, five pass break-ups, four quarterback hurries, four forced fumbles and one blocked kick.

UCLA (9-5, 6-3 Pac-12) is coming off a surprise Pac-12 South title, and was one quarter away from a Rose Bowl appearance before falling to Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship Game. The Bruins ended the season with a 49-26 loss to Baylor in the Holiday Bowl.
