You might recall J.R. Smith ending this ridiculous sequence with a buzzer beater to beat the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night. What you may have missed is how Smith chose to celebrate the shot.
Victor Cruz thinks J.R. Smith’s salsa dance needs improvement
The Giants’ receiver appreciated J.R. Smith trying a salsa dance after his buzzer beater to beat the Bobcats, but acknowledged that it needs some work.

The salsa dance is an obvious nod to fellow New York athlete Victor Cruz, who made the move popular while starring for the New York Giants. Naturally, this caused one reporter to ask Cruz what he thought about Smith's gestures.
“We’ve got to go to the drawing board a little bit,” he said. “It was a little stiff at the end, but we’ll get that squared away.”
The good news: it can’t get any worse.
