The Los Angeles Lakers decided to take in a movie on Thursday night. Some of the players came away enthused about the experience:
The Lakers went to see ‘Lincoln,’ caught up on sleep
Those who forget history are doomed to see a historical biopic as a team-building exercise.

We've watched "Lincoln"! Very good movie! It describes one of the most important moments in the history of the USA. Highly recommended!

Others ... less so.
Dwight on "Lincoln": "It was long ... Steve (Nash) fell asleep at one point. He was snoring"

I fell asleep 8 times RT @konman21: @jordanchill43 you falling asleep in the movie already?

Eight times! What did he think this was, the film version of A Prairie Home Companion?
And it seems there were some who perhaps should have paid more attention in history class.
Kobe on the team's viewing of "Lincoln": "I don't know if the guys knew who he was ... It came as a big shock to them when he was killed"

Sadly, this was just Kobe Bryant making a Master Splinter-level funny.
For those not adept in the art of sarcasm, Kobe was joking about his teammates not knowing who Lincoln is

Next up: the historical drama The Hobbit.
